The Great Pyramids of Giza
You kind of need to go at some point in your life. So I did. It was cool. Except for the way the animals are treated! The camel’s carrying tourist around were NOT STOKED.
Oh, and there’s also a Pizza Hut right across the street from the Sphinx. Like the Sphinx once had a lion head and was pointed to the constellation Leo during the spring equinox. Then a narcissist king came along and put his own head on it, and now it’s facing a fucking Pizza Hut?!
I want to someday go back and not see miserable camels or that damn Pizza Hut!
I could actually talk about the pyramids for days. Too much to say. If the recent news about what’s underneath the Pyramids ends up being true (most likely is), then it could go down as one of the biggest discoveries of our lifetime. Go there if you can. Just don’t ride a camel!
